6) How do I reserve a puppy?

Answer: You can email me for a puppy application, and I will be happy to send you a copy of it, and we will figure out if the breed is a good match for you and your family and if we can help you find your new puppy.

7) Approx Cost of a Icelandic Sheepdog Puppy?

The average Pet Price of an Icelandic Sheepdog in our Kennel is $800
We try and price our pet puppies around the average price of a well-bred Lab Puppy, we understand that in a average litter of Icelandic Sheepdog Puppies most will in fact be pet puppies and that most times there is only one or two Show Puppies.

(Beware breeders that sell the whole litter at the same price as possable show/breeder puppies, this happening would be VERY rare indeed)

The average Show/Breeding Puppy Price to buy outright is normally double that of the pet price, but if you are interested in a co-own with me, It is only a thousand for the show/breeder puppy, as I want to encourage the best puppies be kept intact.

Explaining the difference in price between a pet puppy and a Show/Breeder Puppy?

The first thing to note, is that a pet Icelandic Sheepdog Puppy has been raised and bred in the same careful and loving way as the top pick puppy.
There is nothing about these puppies that would stop them from being a wonderful pet in any way, some of the things that can make a puppy go from being a possable show/breeder to a pet are very picky and minor, example, single dewclaws vs Double dewclaws or not a tightly curled enough tail or perhaps to much white markings.

The second thing of note worth talking about is why the price difference?
The main reason is that this is my way as breeder to thank you for choosing one of our great puppies to add to your home.. if you are getting a pet that is to be altered and a much loved family member, why should you pay for breeding or showing rights that you are not going to use?
