| Merry Christmas to all from the furry waggy Greenstone Gang! Winter has arrived and the snow is now a good foot all over, with drifts into the two or three foot range, the dogs love it, freshly fallen snow is as good of toy as anything we can buy, the dogs roll in it, push it with their noes, make doggy angels, leap, bounce and run/slide into it like a baseball player coming into the plate. Any way you cut it, its adorable to watch an Icelandic Sheepdog play in the snow, you just can't be smile at their silliness, no matter what their age. |

| Litter News and Updates I know that a number of folks are waiting to hear about coming litters and are hopeful that puppies will be coming soon. I do understand as I have been without puppies in the house since fall, and will fully admit that I am drool over friends news litters and spending way to much time looking at my own puppies photos, trying to get a puppy fix LOL So in keeping with that, I have been checking all the females daily to see if anyone is coming into heat, and therefor start the process for all concerned.. well finally three days ago, one of the younger females started her heat, now she is not going to be breed, as she is still very much a baby herself BUT, if she is in, then the older females should not be fair behind, I have two that are starting to swell but not bleed yet.. I will update as soon as I know something, I will email all my interested folks and let them know as soon as females start their heats and will update on when they are breed. Hope you will enjoy seeing the holiday photos of some of the dogs! |

| Grandma came to visit! This was wonderful as the dogs all got extra cuddles, extra walks , it would be fair to say that the dogs loved the extra person to give them lap or foot time, but strangely (at least to me) they all wanted to come sleep with us,. You would think at least one of them, would have thought, Ya.. I will go with grandma and be the only dog in the bed.. nope.. all had to come pile on our bed. |
