| Icelandic Sheepdog Family Groups Hello Folks I have been asked what Family Groups my dogs are in. I am working certain Family Groups per the P.A Oliehoek Study. Will go more indepth further down the page for those still learning about this. Quick Facts. The first Group is the dominant Family Group or Groups. If the dog carries other lines in a more a minor way, it will be listed behind The reason for listing the more minor lines, is so that folks working different lines, will know which of my dogs to use in terms of pulling out the line they are interested in by line-breeding. I would like to increase the amount of A1 an H1 lines in the Kennel. I am very interested in Reykjadels Odinn as he carries A1 While the M1 line is rare world-wide its very! common in N.A. Almost all Current Breeding Icelandic Sheepdogs in Canada carry M1 at this time. We also have a good number of M1/O dogs at this point. B3 and A1 are not common lines in N.A. They are common overseas. |
