That's it folks! As currently planned that is the end of our Shows for 08. If you are interested in meeting our lovely Icelandic Sheepdogs in person at one of the many shows we attend across Ontario and Quebec, please drop me a note and I would be happy to send you info on our current planned coming shows for 2009. I have to say that I could not be MORE pleased with our current Show Results for 2008, BIS BBE Ch Greenstone Black Pearl is currently the #1 Icelandic Sheepdog in Canada, and has the most Group placements in the Breed to date.. What a year we have had, our first Best in Show Bred By in the Breed! Black Pearl's Record for 2008 is AMAZING!, she was shown a total of 18 Shows, of which she won BOB 13 times, (so won Breed 72% of the time) and out of the BOB, she placed Four times in Group. I just want to thank all the judges this year and last that have Group placed Black Pearl! She is living up to the term "SPECIAL" If you are interested in getting a puppy from Black Pearl coming litter, feel free to email me for more info. Our other goals was to get the young'uns out and working on their Championships and currently Greenstone Fire an Ice is Pointed and on her way.. (it turns out her line gets a bit of the puppy growouts, so she was held at home for a while but wait to see her next year folks!) Greenstone Rudolph Valentino is already at seven points, one more good show weekend should see him a special.. Not bad for a boy who has only seen six shows this year.. Greenstone Blackmore Knight has already earned her first Major and is on her way.. watch for her coming to show near you in 2009.. The Eastern Booster for Canada will be held in Aug in 2009, please email me for more info if you would like to come and meet the breed an cheer us on at the ring side! |
